Whoa, They Did What?

I'm all for traditions. Hell, I went to school that puts toilet paper into trees after a win and has both a mascot and a yell. Traditions are great. But, someone really needs to explain this to me:

It's just weird. And not kind of funny weird, but sadistic, Hannibal Lecter weird. And I know they aren't really squeezing maybe 30 or 40 years ago they actually squeezed, but that was a different time. Back then, men were men and there were no women around to roll their eyes and laugh (A&M wasn't coed until 1973). But now, well now it looks kind of dumb.

Again, I'm not making light of some of the unique traditions that A&M has, particularly those that are in honor of the men who have served this country. I think those are great. I'm just wondering how twisted in the mind you have to be to think that squeezing your testicles is going to help some 19 year old, who deep down could give two shits less about the traditions, sack a quarterback. Crazy man, just crazy.

Now screaming at a ref from the top row of a stadium that is full of 90,000 people? Well that is complete lucid and even expected.

If there is an Aggie out there that can explain this, please do.
