Week #3 Review
The review is kind of light due to the fact that I was in a stadium and not watching the games.
Umm, four turnovers will kill you won’t it Notre Dame?
- LSU can say what they want, but the receivers and defensive backs were going after each other all day. There were plenty of opportunities for the refs to call penalties. That being said, Zack Gilbert tackled Doucet on that last play.
- Yes, Kentucky beat Ole Miss on Saturday. Kentucky over Ole Miss. Very nice Ed Orgeron.
- The fact that LSU lost 7-3 on the road and dropped four spots in each poll and Tennessee lost 21-20 at home and only dropped two shows what is wrong with polls. Auburn and LSU are not as impressive as Michigan and Tennessee because they didn’t score points. When was putting 21 points on the board a requirement for being a good team? Auburn and LSU will score this year, but evidently, that might not be good enough and this is reason #1 why the NFL is better than college football.
- All the hype that left Notre Dame didn’t have to travel very far. Michigan is now the single most overrated team in the country.
- If I would have told you 15 years ago that Louisville would be on a two game winning streak over Miami, you would have thought I was crazy.
- Chris Leak for Heisman?
- I would like to make a simple proposal, any coach who loses to Dennis Franchione at Texas A&M should be fired on the spot. Bobby Ross, you let your team down on Saturday night.
